Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated as the best Actress in Television for NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi show Revolution. Spiridakos is a Canadian actress who was born to Greek parents in Winnipeg. Spiridakos' family relocated to Skala near Sparta when she reached the age of four. Spiridakos came back to Canada at nine years old. She strongly identifies herself with her Greek roots, and speaks fluently in Greek. In 2000 she was a graduate of Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved from Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting, and within weeks got her first role on television, a small part on Supernatural. Her work in the television industry continued until 2009 when she was awarded her first lead part on Majority Rules! In 2011 her first film debut, she appeared as a feature film with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
