Nargis Fahbri is a American born model, actress and performer best famous for her role in Bollywood films. Her first acting role was on Imtiaz's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor in 2011. Mona Ghosh Shetty dubbed her voice because of her lack of Hindi skills. Nargis Fakhri was born September 20, 1979, on the 20th of October 1979 in Queens, New York City, United States to Mohammed Fakhri and Marie Fakhri. Aliya is her sister. Her father, Mohammed Fakhri is a Pakistani as is her mother Marie Fakhri is a Czech. When she was only 7 years old, her parents separated. The father of her was killed shortly after. Marie Fakhri was a policewoman during the time. Nargis is a Global Citizen because of her mixed ethnicity of Pakistani and Czech as well as American citizenship. Fakhri was first introduced to the world of an actress at the age of sixteen. At the age of 16, while in Copenhagen with her partner, she received an email from Imtiaz asking to meet at Prague. The request was made for the production of an Indian film. Nargis Fakhri began dating actor Uday Chopra in 2014. But the pair broke up in 2017. In May of 2018, she wrote on Instagram she was in a relationship with American filmmaker and director Matt Alonzo. The couple ended their relationship in January of 2019. They are currently in a romantic relationship with American chef Justin Santos. Nargis is ranked 72nd in Forbes India's 2014 list for Indian stars.
